Geography Mapping Lab

What better way to introduce a unit in your Geography class than to use mapping labs. These will cover the physical geography, climate, and vegetation of any region, you can edit it to fit your TEKS within your content.

The students start out with the BLANK MAPPING LAB.

They label the maps for challenge 1 and 2.

Then have the students use the MAPS and use the CHALLENGE CARDS to complete challenges 3-4.

For challenge five, the students will fill in the grid COMPLETELY over the three absolute locations. Then, project the image on the last slide of the MAPS link and the students must guess where the image goes.
